I’ve decided I need (hah!) a grab and go, quartz 3-hander. Not a diver, not a chronograph, not a swatch, not a fashion brand. Under £500, ideally a lot under. Any suggestions?

The Merci LMM-01, perfect, I’d forgotten all about it. Thanks! That may be the one.

I do like Farer, but they are on the dear side.

The Longines is something I was considering, it’s bound to crop up in one of the big jewellers’ sales sooner or later.
