Anyone know what it's designed for?

Crossing rivers.
You wheelie the front wheel over then do 90deg endo pivot thing to get the back end over.

Fun

Heard tell theres a hanging bag to sit behind front wheel, as well as bar bag ..
Eitherway it looks rad / fun as fuck
-
• #81
Do you pedal it with your knees or is it specifically designed for amputees?

He sells fork crown catapults as well.

Kind of looking forward to getting back in the workshop on Tuesday after a nice brake... feeling a little rejuvenated and very poor. Mostly super looking forward to finally getting this monster rolling for some test rides before I glue @tim_crossman_composites plastic tubes in ready for #concoursedemachines2018 still a bit fat but it’s all about the bike right? And if anyone tells you different they’re lying like that guy in that race that time....

Shirley the clients pick the parts?
In the world of custom framebuilders that exist these days wouldn't peg Dear Susan as elitist.

What happened to the young boy who once said
If it ain't triple triangle, chain drive and rim brakes, it aint right.
But seriously I like these. As @platypus said:
this is what custom builders are best at imo. machines perfect for one specific thing that are impossible to buy anywhere else.
Nail on head.

Fantastic to see he'll be at Concours de Machine,
can't wait to see a Confrérie fan choke on his croissant. There are a lot of highly inefficient vehicules on our roads, his creations are harmless , fun.
His cargo bike is really good. -

Exactly. Think it's mad genius to go to that event with a bike like that. Might even be nice to ride, who knows?
It's not like he's rendering bikes without spokes or creating the next crowdfunding ebike. -

Brain couldn't handle this one for a while.
(Is there a nice way to get a direct link to an Instagram post on mobile?)

I saw Peter yesterday and he was riding it.
He explained it was an experiment in how shoddily a frame could be constructed and still be ridden. He has ridden it into stairs etc and it's still survived.
-
• #97
Lol, that's my sort of experiment
Can't imagine the chain tension works very well though
Edit: oh hang on, it has got a barely visible "chain stay" on the drive side so I guess the tension would be okay

Did he already have this at SPIN London a few years ago?
If so, I rode it (certainly a very similar-looking bike) and the ride feeling was awesome.

Looks like it's been on his website a while so I would guess you probably did!

I assume that picture is of the bike after he rode it into a stairs. It looks shit.
cool design but colours make it ugly as fuck..
