Interesting - he's got some decent results this year on the road too.

HARRY Tanfield was riding a Katusha Canyon TT bike for some reason
-
• #18555
He rides for the Bike Channel Canyon team, or whatever they're called now, doesn't he? Was it definitely the Katusha one?
-
• #18556
Red frame with Katusha seattube logo clearly visible identical to Dowsett's

Think he said in an instagram story a while ago he got a lend of it for the commonwealth games, guess he hasn't given it back yet.

Yeah. I mean they’re both destined for pro teams no doubt. You’d be silly to not take an interest.
Perhaps they need to cut their teeth with some proper hard racing before WT. However Harry won the first stage in TdY so can clearly race. Plus he’s been in Belgium doing 1.2s so serious races^.
I think they’re 2 of the best prospects from the UK right now. Just need development. Given Charlie’s pursuit at ages 21, the genetics are there.

I don’t like cycling brothers. They’re too confusing.
Just about got the Yates figured out but can’t tell them apart from sight.

Haha I noticed that! I was listening to it and was like, wait, didn't I already see that somewhere?.. Well done, great joke indeed.

From @inrng;
La Gazzetta prints Sky's Tour team: Froome, Poels, Thomas, Moscon, Kwiatkowski, Rowe, Castroviejo & Bernal with Puccio on standby as a sub gazzetta.it/Ciclismo/29-06… (🇮🇹)

Jeez Phillipa York has it in for Froome doesn't she!

They're twins though so it's a given know one knows which is which. I can do older one / younger one a bit more easily. More exciting when younger one beats older one too...

• #18564
Thought of you when I heard it, if that's any consolation.

I'm a journalist who "borrows" phrases/ideas/styles all the time so I can't complain.

Coincidence or is the maker of the podcast a lurker?

Gaimon wins the fondo race thing.

ASO will not allow Froome to start in Le Tour de France, according to Le Monde
-
• #18569
And if it wasn't leaked the ASO wouldn't have a clue and he would be racing.
-
• #18570
What kind of an appeals process doesn't have time to run before the decision being appealed comes in to effect?
-
• #18571
Yeah, good luck with that.
-
• #18572
Sky will appeal to CAS, they will rule in favour of Froome. The rules are clear, Froome is free to ride unless he is charged with a doping violation by the UCI.
-
• #18573
I do worry that if he rides some pissed-up idiot French 'fan' will knock him off.
-
• #18574
Suggestion on Twitter ASO can boot out anyone they feel will damage the image of the race.
-

They were talking about bodyguards? They’ll need some fit ones to run up Alp d’huez along side him...
Though given Charlie won U23 and Harry was 2nd in senior. People really need to use their actually names!
