Over the last week or two the crack pictured has appeared. I'm concerned over the proximity to the house and the amount of movement - this is most visible in the door handle/bar, which used to sit nicely in the catch.
This has been quite rapid, but i suspect is due to the prolonged period of warm weather and lack of rain. There is no drainage running under the area. It's falling away from the house and there is also no movement visible in the property stone/mortar. It does appear to be localised to the retaining wall which is only 1.5 ft and the nearby paving.
Who should I be calling? Should I set up some fixed monitoring points in the interim and be measuring distances/drop?
