FWIW, I got these (barely) over 42mm tyres, only as an emergency but still. Really great guards for the money

hmm. so could I get these over 28mm on wide rim? dibs if so!

42mm? The bigger ones that must have been? I run 28's and gave up with these when I realised it would be pretty much impossible without going for narrower tyres

what tyre / rim combo?

Maybe....I had 28c paselas on I think 15mm internal rims and it wasn't going to go.
The issue is the little clamps on the guards narrow the profile further. Anyone else had any experience?

Didn’t realise there was two sizes. The wider is only 37mm.
42mm was by no way suitable. It was rizla clearance and rubbed all the time but it kinda worked. Anyway, I reckon they’d be absolutely fine on 28s -

I’m not helping. Gonna shut up.

Ha. Well, It's up to you @Thrasher.
I think @jaeyukdapbap is still running a set, but with relatively skinny tyres. Any input?

I've got some 25mm Vittoria something or others on a halo aerotrack rear rim and mavic open pro front. Clearance is spot on for 25mm. 28mm would be too much as the wheel is pretty much as far back in the track dropout as it can go and a bigger tyre would rub against the area of the guard directly under the brake bridge. Would recommend grabbing some better grub screws for the stay clip things as the ones they come with start to rust up. Otherwise, welllllllllll happy with them!

I'll have them if he ^ doesn't.
One set of Radial Mudguards. Bought ages ago as they were selling like hot cakes and are now sold out. I should have got the bigger ones as 25c does look like the max for these.
I got about 1/4 of the way through fitting. Nothing chopped or altered, but the bag is open and some of the first stages have been attempted. They are quite a job to get on, but look lovely when done. It looks like its not going to rain till September, giving you loads of time to put off fitting them!
Pics when I get home tonight if needed. Here's a stock image:

Pick up from Kingston or Westminster. I'd rather not post as they will probably get mangled.
