@slothy@edscoble I'm slowly learning manufacturers understandably play it safe when quoting range compatibility. This could make a difference. My next question is what 42/44/46t cog or cassette can I put on my Shimano 11sp road freehub body?

You'd have to use a mtb cassette + spacer (1.85mm I think?), quite a few options out there, shimano, sunrace etc. Personally, I used a cheap sunshine cassette from aliexpress ($23), weighs 500g and wears rather quickly.
