Possible though. After I took that pic of the mejadra last week I went upstairs and got tucked into a few beers, leaving the dregs in the pan on the heat for well over an hour. Weirdly the contents didn't smoke or burn, just dried out into crispy grains but the base of the pan (inside and out) appears to have been permanently discoloured.

But they do have a "B" engraved on them.
The problem I mainly have with seasoned pans, and non stick pans, and enameled pans, is that it's all fine when I'm using it but others do not always exercise the same care.
