I do it for leisure, yes.
However most people see new parts as new parts - doesn't matter if it is high end tyres or low end ones.
I did try to put a £60 new pair of Michelin Endurance tyres on an Easton alloy bike and the end price was the same (£240) I would have got with low end Vittoria Zaffiro.
I only do it to get nicer parts for myself so it is not a commercial enterprise
I fix a lot of bikes in my spare time and I purchase new parts/tyres whenever they are on offer.
All the bike I fix up & sell are sold for low amounts so unfortunately it is not viable for me to get "nice" colours unfortunately.
For this Motobecane, the person who purchased it picked all the colours... so not my responsibility...
