In my experience squeaking of carbon SMP is caused by the faux-metal silver paint on the rails. If you remove the saddle you will probably find the paint cracked to bits, I could remove it with my nail or a small knife. Getting rid of that, around the clamped area has removed the creaking with my SMP's.
I've got one of these, or an earlier iteration of. It's been great, but has -recently- developed a squeak when I push a bit hard.
Mind you. I have a SMP on another bike that also squeaks, so MAYBE IT'S JUST MY FAT ARSE.
