I don't think this works any more, I tried to send someone my code recently and it wouldn't let them use it on their account

Damn. That's annoying. Especially when the CRC site is buggy and if you put the code in, but then don't complete the purchase and come back later the site thinks you've already used it so it's not valid anymore.
