It's a big day out. I'd suggest 8am latest and bring food to eat as you ride. When Pete and I tried to do it we didn't dick about that much but still failed spectacularly to go the distance.

for these reasons i'm out

I bashed my knee in yesterday so had to sack it off for this week. just walking is painful at the moment, so a 50k offroad ride is probably dumb. I'm going to do it next thursday instead.

Super dry and very slidey- there’s a layer of seed cases acting like ball bearings.

Plenty of trees down forcing some route diversions.
