  • Hiya guysngals,

So, if ild want a crank that has similar specs like a Shimano Alfine:
HollowTech II, ideally 130bcd and 42/48mm chainline
    but,
with an aesthetic like a SRAM classic 5-arm crank.
Would also take a triple and remove the inner ring.
    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

  • Shimano fc-6603 is good if you want that triple loving with HT2 ease.
5-arm crank, 74/130 mm BCD, 45 mm chainline for middle ring.
Available in any colour as long as it's silver .

If you really must have black then fc-5703 has all the same things but looks meh.

  • Thanks. Thing is I really don't like the blob of metal in the center of the crank. Had an Alfine crank and as said, ticks all the technical boxes, but just hope there's an equivalent that isn't as ugly.
The ultegra gunmetal 5 arm ( 6601/6604) looks alright because the blob of metal isn't as blobby. I guess I'll try to source me one of them.
Wasn't looking for a triple specifically, just gave it as an option to widen the scope of suggestions.

@mdcc_tester, no shit. Its just that I find HollowTech ii is a better system then gxp and I already have it on other bieks so easier.
Do have a tester approved mirage ultra torque also, but 135bcd and i want 130bcd because I own a plethora of chainrings in that size.
