i saw the tour de suffolk on rwgps but it looked like some of it was on a-roads which I generally try to avoid...

Yeah, mine is untitled.
In general all the roads are fine, bar the one A road we have - the A12. Don’t go near that. Framlingham, Woodbridge, Westleton, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Orford, Bawdsey, Laxfield, Thorpeness all nice places to string together for a ride depending how much time you have.
