Probably
Worst case is that you’d need to unclip the sail in high winds but at least you can stand on the planter to reach the clip. -

I saw a video where they'd sunk a post approx 80 cm before bolting fixings on to that.
Id probably unclip it when it wasn't needed.

Vs a cheap gazebo and 4 plant pots to put the legs in.
It's all a bit "meh" but my yard is a sun trap and can't be sat in at the moment.
Lots of options:
Pvc pipe cemented into a section of the planter post into pipe, soil, plants etc etcSigh
Who can I throw some money at?

My old washing machine died - I bought a new one, a decent brand and cost a lot, I paid for the delivery + installation. The new one had a problem, it gave an error code that google told me was due to water not getting in.
I moaned to the shop, they sent an engineer out who confirmed that new machine was not working properly, they arranged a replacement.
New replacement came today, and the same problem, error code and insufficient water. The installer / engineer now says it’s a problem with our water pressure, valve etc.
What do I do? How do know if he’s right ? How do check water pressure is sufficient for washing machine? ( ive lived here for over 10years with washing machine in same place, no previous issues with water pressure)
Thanks in advance

I have a £400 gazebo with side screens (curtains) down the far end of the garden which has a screw in each leg straight into the decking. I remove the roof over winter and spend most evenings sitting down there. I have my bbqs my iPad and my peace and quiet.
It works a treat

Angle the whole thing so there's some space and then get a connecting flexi pipe in between the waste pipe and the trap?

that's what I thought but all the flexi pipe are male (ie: it has threading on the end) to male ended rather than male to female.

There must be a male to female adapter shirley?

• #14319
Don't call me Shirley

you would think so. but I am struggling to find one. possibly due to not actually knowing what the correct terminology is.

You normally buy an adjustable trap if you don't know or have the opportunity to create the dimensions to suit a fixed one.
-
• #14322
Yeah, Bought one of those too. That was too deep on the lowest setting.

• #14323
Build one yourself with a few bits of waste, a junior hacksaw, and a load of solvent weld?
-
• #14324
I suspect that is the answer, sadly.
