I lecture at an art school and we were launching the BA graduation show last night. Lots of hugs and congratulations for the students and a sea of alumni glad to see us all. A guy in my peripheral vision opened his arms for a hug so I duly obliged thinking someone I knew was coming to say hi... he was greeting the dude behind me. I think I scared the crap out of him.
