Enjoyed that. Two great goals from Argentina to scrabble them into the knockout rounds.
Mascherano was over the shop tonight. Loads of passion and last minute tackles, but really poor distribution and never looked to hit a positive forward pass.
Banega was the one who made that side tick, got to wonder why this was his first game in the tournament.
Sampaoli needs to think long and hard about who plays next game.
Why no dybala? Why was Aguero not starting? How bad does mascherano have to play before he's dropped?
Think Argentina lose to the first good side they come up against, that has the belief that they are there for the taking!
