isnt a frankenwatch a watch that has some genuine parts and some fake parts assembled together?

is it a frankenwatch if Omega itself accepts to service it?

Not necessarily. Most Frankenwatches seem to be a mishmash of og bits of different watches, usually with a redial.

I think the WatchCo SM300s are slightly different - they might be a mismatch of different SM300 years but they all (as far as I know) come from SM300s.
