Good article that. They've definitely made them work on bikes, they're very much the accessory du jour on current generation superbikes. It's probably easier to get them to work as the rear wheel unloads far more on the brakes than cars do and I guess it takes a bunch less energy /time to unload the drive train with a blip.
Do they use the clutch downshifting in sequential boxes in rally cars? In motocross, you just crunch down the box as it's all loose and never that heavily loaded anyway.
