• For sale is this beloved fair weather commuter. Bought 5 years ago from Gumtree, converted to single-speed about a year ago. Light, comfy upright position, fast gear ratio but still good in the hills.

    Frame is in good condition, paint chipped off in many places.
    Newly fitted in the last couple of months: chain, brake pads, pedals, bar tape, headset.
    Fitted just over a year ago: chainring, sprocket, brake levers, cables, tyres, handlebars.

    IMPORTANT: left side bottom bracket plastic cup is stuck. Removal effort can be seen in the photos, plastic gave in. The BB metal body was successfully removed without issues and threads coated with anti-seize. Bottom bracket runs super smooth, no immediate need for replacement. When you do decide to replace it, the plastic side can be removed with a hacksaw without damaging the frame.
