I am attempting to replace my small chainring on a bike that runs an 8 speed shimano set up. I have found one a tiagra chainring on ebay that is categorised as a 10 speed chainring, so i just wondered whether this will work without problems on my bike? From what I have read the 8/9/10 chainrings run the same distance between the teeth - but I just wanted to double-check it will be OK. Thanks.
