Is there some sort of linked broadband and mobile package where your mobile calls get routed through VOIP instead of cellular when you are in range of your home router?
It's for a holiday home where there is no mobile signal. (Sadly not my holiday home. I just got asked to solve the problem.)
The alternative is getting a landline number at the holiday home then fwding mobile calls to the landline while at the holiday home, but that means remembering to set it before leaving reception-land and take it off again when leaving. Which will never happen and I will get the blame.
It does exist, but it requires the right hardware at both ends (ie router and phone) plus the service provider. If you phone can do VoWiFi on the tube platforms (where the routers do support it) then you stand a chance. If that doesn't work, stick with skype.
