Noctilucent clouds! They've been visible the past few evenings apparently
They're pretty rare and quite mysterious. Were never observed before 1885 and no one is quite sure how they form; may be something to do with rocket launches or meteors.
Was in bed and got up to close my window, but when I spotted these I had to run off to get the camera and tripod :) quite surreal to see such bright clouds at 2 AM, it reminded me a little of the aurora.
