Can you tell that I think it's a terrible idea to build your deposit up in watch parts which, on their own bring almost no benefit to you, are less liquid than complete watches and don't appreciate in value and introduce a risk that parts you need aren't available in the future, in order to build a parts-watch which has limited resale value?
How would this be an alternative to saving up for a complete watch? It’s not like you can stick a set of hands and a dial to your wrist whilst you’re saving up for the case and movement
