Very pleased with nil nil-nil games so far. I hope we get through all the group stage matches with that record intact.

I remember the last WC as being excellent. I guess it's hard to compare them but this one has exceeded expectations so far. Particularly all the negativity about it being in Russia etc which hasn't come to bear so far. Hoping it stays this way.

This game as it stands is too good to be true. Germany? Going out at the group stage of World Cup? HOLD ME!

At least according to the studio experts, Germany had ~350 passes to Swedes’ 100 in the first half (after the first 15 or so minutes it was 120 to 6). So I do think the Krauts had the upper hand most of the time. And they did play well even when down one guy.

But all this might be just because I am a Finn, and hence must hate the Swedes.
