Looking at that cassette, and the wear on the teeth, I'd describe it as 'fucked' rather than 'pretty good condition'. Maybe it's just me though. Still looks shagged.

That cassette looks like one that I would consider replacing on account of the visible wear.
As has been mentioned, a new chain won't play nicely with it.

So I bought a used (but looks in pretty good condition..?) DA cassette with a fairly expensive brand new sram chain. Chain is slipping in gear 7/8/9 - all other gears are great. Is this normal when combining used/new drivechain parts?
