It's nice that they accentuated how crooked they drilled the extra holes by making this close-up.

I'm not defending the hideous wheels, but to me they look evenly spaced, but alternating closer and further from the edge of the hub

The spacing to the edge is debatable, but the spacing between the holes is definitely well off:
