    @gillies Asked @edscoble about the geo, but I found the Arkose really effective in 650 guise. It's nimble without being twitchy. It really surprised me doing Epping Forest in winter. I suppose maybe brand snobbery comes into it, but you're not going to find people banging on about riding a 'Pinnacle', despite them being bloody brilliant.

    I had the 920 with risers and that's when it came alive really. It's quite slack, so with a shorter stem it felt more like a mountain bike. I'd probably stick with 700" wheels on it though.
    650 allowed for massive tyres, but anything more than 165mm cranks and you'll have pedal strike. Wheel issue was bolt through. 142x10 and 15x100 if I remember right. This was a white ago so a bit hazy on the memory.
