  • I've had one. They're shockingly light, Canal sized clearences, decent mount points, can take guards easy and are really competent on gnarly off road..

But they have their foibles. It was a bit dead feeling. Needed proper MTB wheels and reach was a bit long, for me at least.

For more funzzz, I'd take the Lithium. I really miss the Arkose.

  • There's disappointingly few examples of people doing cool shit with their lithiums. It appears to me to be a pretty cheap bike with decent potential for something a little different. Is there a catch that I'm missing?

Have to say the paint on the 920 is pretty lovely and a light bike is always welcome, even if weight isn't a priority for this build. Why does it need mtb wheels? Do you mean 26" or do you just mean wide rims or what? In terms of reach - would using flat bars be a problem, then?

  • Likewise with the arkose when I got that but +MechaMorgan and his camo one put my tiny mind at ease and I built one anyway and now I love it.

  • My missus has a lithium and its a suprisingly capable bike , will run 29er wheels with a 50mm tire, spacing is 135/100. frame isn't the most elegant but its not that heavy either .
