This is for sale in a Facebook-Group. That rotary-knob at the left bar-end is actually a brake lever for the disc brake.
Pretty frankenbike-ish i think.

Pretty basic DIY recumbent, must weigh a ton.

its a death trap. it doesn't spring back, you have to engage, then disengage it

I guess the hiding of the brake cable? Probably brakes terribly though.

still, I wouldn't class hiding a brake cable as 'clever' if the brake is less functional than a regular lever / likely to cause instant death
