  • Chooyuhudson's one of the sociopathic bike buyers/sellers in the UK, chances are if you sell anything remotely nice on any forum he'll email you a terse lowball offer of about half its value-pretty sure he was banned from here. I think it's fair to say he's made a reputation for himself anyway...

  • Terse low ball offer you say? Have just been dealing with one in particular.

Have noticed one particular forum buyer who has a habit of listing multiple ‘nice’ things, claiming he rides them. Caught him a couple of times selling on other markets.

When I listed a couple of frames, immediately got a DM with a lowball offer.

Doesn’t sound all too above board. Won’t name them because I’m not sure it’s tipped over that line, but DM me if you’re interested.

  • I think there’s sometimes a very fine line between a lowball offer and what someone is willing to pay for something based on what they’ve paid for things in the past!

I had an eBay seller respond to my offer with utmost disgust the other day highlighting just how much he had paid for the object I “lowballed” on, before I promptly responded with an informed example of where I could buy said object, with free postage, for a matter of about £3 more than I’d offered him...

Much like beauty, lowballing is often in the eye of the beholder, where someone who goes out and pays RRP for everything may baulk at an otherwise very sensible and well informed offer!

  • Speaking of eyes bigger than belly thanks for shipping the wheels so quick. (Paid very fair asking price I hasten to add and they're cheap replacements for my Chris kings which are getting sold to raise funds💩💩💩💩💩💩)
