You always see the pros with "something" on their back which looks like it is in that location. -
The Vermarc website and brochures don't have any detailed information about their garments and there's no mysterious feature which might be those flaps...

In this aerosuit in picture 12 and 14, what are the little flaps under the zip for? I can't think of a reason for them
