One thing to think about is if you use SIS tablets or similar. I need to due to dehydration problems, so I do also carry another bottle in a bar holster.

I'd figured out it would make sense to use the bottom water bottle cage with an adapter to move the cage lower. I'd already ordered the adapter (oops) but this makes much more sense.
Is there a recommended bladder? I have no idea what I'm doing but am planning to be doing some touring in the second half of July so need to get things sorted (and Restrap custom frame bags take three weeks).
