just attach the mount loop to the end of the bag, easy no?

On two bikes I've mounted this light to the seatstay. Use some electrical tape and anything thicker like bar tape to get the angle adjusted.

This may not work as I intend (and may also not help you either) but I've ordered a cheap one of these from eBay:

I'm hoping I can bend the mounts out slightly to act as a makeshift anti-sway device but also give the option of extra bottle holders if needed.
Maybe something like this could work as a light mount?
