Tempted. Very tempted.
I need lighter wheels on the PinkAdventureMissile. Flip-flop would also be a boon. Is either side threaded for fixed sprocket and lock ring?
How much do they weigh?

I'm gonna chuck down a dibs, pending answers.

The rear hub is flip flop - yes.
I will check the weight tonight but definitely not classified as lightweight...
Internet tells me 2,326 grams split as follows:
- Rims 635 grams
- Front hub 268 grams front (including Track Nuts)
- Rear hub 340 grams (including Track Nuts)
- DB spokes + nipples are about 7 grams x 64 = 448 grams
EDIT
I have weighted the wheels
Front 1,160 grams + Rear 1,277 grams = 2,437 grams for the pair - Rims 635 grams

I wonder how that weight matches up against the stock wheels on my Plug. I'll do a bit of research and get back to you!

Did you get a chance to check weights?

Oh yeah sorry, I think I'll hang in for something lighter.

I have a friend who may well be interested though. And he's in the wine trade!
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hi all,
I have a brand new flip flop wheelset available, I have just put it together and will true & tension it as soon as I have a buyer...
Brand new UnoFix open bearings hubs laced to brand new Exal ZX-19 clincher rims with braking surface front & back.
These are wide rims (19mm internal / 24.8mm external) so ideal if you want to go WIDE.
Laced 3 cross front & back with brand new double butted stainless steel ACI spokes. Hub logos lined up with valve holes for extra OCD points:
Can also add:
Although the rims are brand new, the rims have light marks from storage. Nothing major.
This is a great entry level wheelset which would be ideal for a daily ride.
I am after for £85 for the wheelset.
Add £15 for brand new Kenda Kriterium 700 x 25mm tyres and inner tubes.
Or SOLD for £100 all in, including a used freewheel.
Pick up from Stoke Newington
Cheers
Vince
