    I pumped the tyres up to 65psi. It looks tight and to be honest I was concerned so I stuck a bit of tape inside the fork to give me a clearer indication of whether the tyre was rubbing on the inside of the fork. I started out steady on the road. Checked for rubbing. Then hit some slightly bumpier paths. Checked again. Then went all out climbing in a big gear to throw my weight around to see if it would rub under the greatest lateral movement. No rubbing at all. I'm so pleased/relieved as I know some people were dubious.

  • Nice work. And on the rear? I was under the impression that you'd lose a bit of clearance there due to crimped stays.
