Just had our mortgage application approved. Looking to buy a bigger house as the kids will be in their teens soonish. Found a humongous place which is a bit (=totally) too expensive obviously but there's an option to convert part of the ground floor into a small apartment which we would rent out to improve finances. Everything feels terrifying but the sellers haven't had any offers yet which probably means that if you've got the money for a house this size you'd rather live somewhere more posh. We don't as it's close to our current place so no need to change schools etc. Going to put in an offer today, just mentally preparing myself so I'm not too disappointed when nothing works out as we'd hoped...
Tldr: could possibly have space for more bikes soon.
