• Suspension set up on Capra is killing me. It's possible there is such a thing as too much adjustability. Float X2 has something like 24 clicks of adjustment for high speed compression, low speed compression, high speed rebound, low speed rebound and then you have volume spacers to adjust rate of progression and pressure of course...

  • Wouldn't have happened if you'd bought a bike from a big manufacture.

It's enough to make me quite happy to keep riding unsuspended.

  • If it's not coil-sprung, it's not proper enduro ;-)

  • Totally agree. Makes people obsess and spend yonks adjusting instead of riding.
Same reason motorcycles (high end at least) is going straight into Active Electronic Damping.
As far as I see it, there's so many variables to what would allow the bike to preform at it's best, you'd have to keep stopping to readjust.
I'm not saying advancements shouldn't happen, but the X2's pissed me off the same way RS1's answered a question no one really asked.
Your regular user barely understands pressure for sag, let alone Hi/Lo compression.

Dropping 10psi from the tyres made a bigger impact on my confidence than any upgrade.
