Any interest in a 18” serotta? Rat bike potential. Project not happening anymore. I’ll be building it up with LX Deore. £200 ish

Even better than I imagined! Any sort of racking to it?

Yes. Rear rack and baby seat!

Are you a local? I've never actually been to Rainhard but Toronto, like most cities now, is awash with microbreweries. I'll check that one out though!

Thanks man. Potentially interested. Just need to figure out which bike I'd throw them on as I'm quite taken with the weirdness of the Sachs hub brake setup I have on the Rocky Mountain.

I've got family in Little Malta. If you want help getting those Maguras, I'll be over next month...

Finished my 650b conversion (we cool with that here?). Was supposed to be a parts build but things got out hand fast when deals kept falling into my lap. It's some low key bling now. Ignore that rear valve and the backwards wheel

Looks great. Love the cockpit setup.
Are they 3piece bmx cranks or something more exotic like Cook Bros?

Tempting... We could set up some kind of import/export deal so I can take advantage of all the deals back in the UK!

Ah, didn't realise you weren't in the UK. I've been away until now but I'll be passing through the bike place tomorrow morning so can check the prices for you. Think it might have been £30 for a set of the old-school yellow ones but not sure.

Cooks. Found them for disgustingly cheap due to damage to the NDS cranks square taper interface and heavy wear. It held on a short ride so I really am hoping the damage is only a visual (as it seemed to be after some close inspection with a couple of seasoned mechanics). If it ends up unuseable I'll sell the set to someone who needs a driveside crank.

Put some really cheap, eBay special gumwalls on.... as soon as I can wangle a cheap enough stem, I'm gonna call it done!
Anyone want to swap this 70mm hope for a 70mm (or 80mm with a bit of rise) Thomson?

Honest Pete, it's taken on a life of its own! It's so ugly, it's lovely!
It ride wonderfully, and all the bits that shouldn't work together, mesh like a Swiss watch!😂

Yeah, I'm happy to help. I always end up taking bike parts and whisky in exchange for maple syrup and other fine Canadian goods.

So it looks like it's just one set of brakes but comes with a bleed kit or whatever. £27 which is maybe not the best deal ever but alright I guess.

Thanks. I usually get back to the UK once or twice a year but I may take you up on that if I see something I need on here.

Thanks for taking a look. I think I'll pass on this one and see if I can find a pair of them over here.

Yeah, I reckon you can find them cheaper!
That's awesome. The sheer number of these things still on the road is a testament to their tank-like quality. It never really was meant to hop rocks anyway.
