Bigger tyres would be nice, XLS can only clear 33c, bigger would be good for gravel events but I get by ok.

I'm doing GXP with Truvativ Elita. £14 for 46t Stronglight which is in the post, 30t is standard.
Sorry for crap photo
So that's pretty much any non-press-fit BB covered

Is that foot rub on the chainstay? Those Spa chainsets are surprisingly handsome - think I'll be getting one once my current (ancient) one wears out.

No, it’s from the chain coming off a couple of time and got stuck between the B.B. and crank.

They're not copies, they are actually made by Sugino (they have the "S" logo stamped at the back).

Good to know re: chainset.
Do you - or anyone else for that matter - happen to know how the Sugs anodising stands up? All the new shimano/sram stuff looks lovely until the anodising comes off - which never takes long - and then they look crap. If it’s likely to rub off I’d be inclined to get silver.

Anyone know if the Vitus Energie Apex is going to ever be in stock in the larger sizes? Keen to get a new bike and will have access to CycleScheme in about a month. It would be pretty ideal, but don't want to hang around waiting for it to nver come back in to stock in the larger sizes.

Think the question you should be asking is why is your heels rubbing on it in the first place?

To be fair, it's not something I've overly experienced myself it's just something you see a lot of, which does beg the question if it'd ever be a problem for me at all - which is a fair point.
In the end I found a cheap triple tiagra crank in silver on eBay and pulled the trigger on that so it's a moot point! Ordered an SPA 46t ring and single ring bots to go with it.
Works with HollowtechII triples too.
