Didn't know about the substance, was thinking of the Energie apex1 for £850 and Rival1 for a bit above your budget.

Has bottle cages, mud guard mounts and 42c clearance and claims a modest frame weight (1200g). If you like the look, see if the geometry is any different to the 'gravel' models..
