No greek bikes here, why do you ask?

Cheapest way to get 46/30t which paid off massively on some seriously hilly gravel road.
The outer ring have been cut off due to its interfering with the front derailleur.

I really, REALLY like this one:

That Vitus is very good value for money. Apex HRD it's like £600 on its own.

Got some G-one speeds from bikester for a not so bad price. Around 30 each.

So when you say ‘cut off’ do you mean you’ve moved it to the middle mount? (Or inner mount, you know what I mean!)

I assume it was an ‘on the road’ bodge as opposed to something you did before you left?
I’m looking at getting one of their chain sets for the same reason. I presume it still shifts ok as long as you set the derailleur up correctly? Do you happen to know if you used the recommended bb length or longer as you’re using it as a super compact?

Mad eh, would have bought the Rival edition if it was on my radar last year. Instead I have a PX XLS that's a good race bike but offers zero versatility.

Personally I disagree, with the discount I dont think thats bad, everything is "expensive" nowadays ...

Oh sorry. @ThePeginator it came with a chain guard that fit on the outside ring, (the inside have 46t and smaller bolt have 30t).
The chain guard got in the way of the shifter, but I didn’t have spacer or shim, so I cut off the chain guard and use that as a spacer, it was something I did before I left as I don’t wanna spend more money I need for the tour.
Spa recommend 115mm so I fit a 113mm one as there’s ample clearance, might fit 110mm when I get back, but it could make those shimano long arm shifter to not perform well.

Thanks Ed!

Running the same setup as Ed - ditched the outer chaingaurd and swapped in some shorter chainring bolts so no spacers needed. Ended up running it on a 123mm Shimano BB-UN55 - gives approx 47mm chainline that works well for 135/142mm rears

What versatility do you need?
Anyone got the purple women's Arkose (/frameset) in small for sells?
