What's up with the paint? Could you post a close up?
-
• #3
It's a smoke effect.
I think that may have once belonged to me.
-
• #4
Looks like grubby chain hands to me.
-
• #5
Haha, quick close ups added. The paint is done by holding the bike over a sooty candle when the paint is still wet. Classic 80s/90s work.

I take it it's 100 front 130 rear spacing or did you cold set it yourself?
-
• #16
All oringal spacing, can't remember if it's a bit tight or not, but I don't think it was and agree with the 130 mm guess.

What are the rear drop outs like
(scratches chin.... could i run it fixed)
-
• #19
Yes you could, it's a large classic campagnolo dropout, I have ran gearless with much less in the past.

Ace thanks, just replied.
I must reluctantly sell some of my beloved bikes, starting with this comfortable, quick, classic custom build.
It's fully equipped with a 9 speed Campagnolo groupset, including the much lesser spotted pinnacle of downtube shifters, one of which has been modified to work on the bars as a thumb shifter. Also includes Vento wheels, Rolls saddle, SR post, sparkly cables and more!
It has been ridden very little since I built it and it's working extremely well. You really won't find anything else like this...
Now £450 or very nearest offer, located in Dalston. Frame and fork, £170. Can deliver within London and come to arrangements for elsewhere.
