I've been to Whistler bike park.

It was quite good. Their stock hire bike is the Giant Glory.

We downsized to the Reign but still felt ridiculously overbiked for our respective skill levels.

I wonder if I could do something clever with bike to work- would turn this into a £1600 bike.

Whistler is certainly on the to do list for me. I've been stalling it for a time when I can fit in a few days at Whistler and a few days riding some other BC spots like Kamloops, Nanaimo and some North Shore spots.

I've been thinking about a trip to Madeira too, the riding looks fantastic there.

My Attitude is still worth decent money.

And, I've almost bought that bike a couple of times tonight.

Only reason I've held off is that I'm in head office tomorrow and I'm going to ask if we could join CycleScheme.

If they take the full amount out of (say) my August wages that would sting a little but be ok, and the tax saving would be worth it.
