Whistler is certainly on the to do list for me. I've been stalling it for a time when I can fit in a few days at Whistler and a few days riding some other BC spots like Kamloops, Nanaimo and some North Shore spots.
I've been thinking about a trip to Madeira too, the riding looks fantastic there.

I've been to Whistler bike park.
It was quite good. Their stock hire bike is the Giant Glory.
We downsized to the Reign but still felt ridiculously overbiked for our respective skill levels.
