  • I always thought Skate 2 was the peak. Would consider getting an XOne just for Skate 3 and MGS 2 + 3. Actually that's three excellent reasons...

  • I never really got into Skate, I was more the fantasy world of THPS fanboi

  • Kickflip x 10 !

  • Yeah, one of the main reasons I got an Xbox One, ha. Skate 2 got a bit crazy and had this weird orange hue to everything. Skate 3 feels like a more realistic world to me. Annoying you have to quick transport between locations though, which was the main reason I liked Skate the most.

  • Has anyone played Agony?

Watched a few playthroughs and then the final scene even and despite the build up it looks like utter shite

  • Living room gaming PC sold as I cant cope with Windows... now do I need an Xbox one X?
(Yeah I know its based on windows but optimised for controller input/control, im done with keyboards in the living room...)

  • Reviews suggest it's a load of shit

  • Don't forsake living room PC gaming man

You can even get wireless Xbox/steam controllers (but my batteries are flat)

  • I have a steam controller, but every now and again something goes wrong, a game launches in the wrong res, a pop up doesnt go away, or some other crap! I cant use Windows...

  • :')

I can empathise. I spent an hour yesterday working out why suddenly I apparently had no FO4 game saves (OneDrive changed my ""save location" to the cloud??) . Sorted now.

But when it works, it works well.

  • Having owned a PS4, OG Xbone, Xbone S & and Xbone X, the X is by far the nicest machine.

Quiet, sleek, better menus etc than PS4.

First party games are seriously lacking at the moment but backwards compatibility is the tits.

Playing Red Dead again with full 4k textures is like playing a new game. Well worth it.

  • ^ i should probably stop buying consoles and start playing them...!

  • My games kept crashing and I thought something was bust, turned out my SSD was too full (2.5GB spare).

And loads of other minor annoyances that are prob fine for people who know how to use windows and/or have a keyboard at hand, but for me the whole point of living room gaming was it is 100% controller based and if it fails to be that its too annoying...

@Soul nice to hear! Just went to buy one at where I work but the store manager would not give me my work discount as I didn't have the right card, thats someones promotion blocked, LOLZ (I colour in for al living, have no authority to do anything like that really).

  • Speaking of PC gaming; anyone want a Vive and or a GTX1080? Both boxed and in pristine condition...

£400 each or £750 for the pair.

  • Hmmm half tempted by the 1080 to replace my 1070 in my eGPU.... what model is it?

  • Good timing.

  • 10 years ago. Ready to be sad when Skate 4/ a remaster doesn't get announced tomorrow.

  • This week I am mostly playing:

Cultist Simulator (Lovecraft-themed resource-juggling interactive fiction):

    Jukebeat (Japanese touchscreen rhythm-matching addiction:

Hollow Knight (Metroidvania with bugs and Darks-Soul's-esque lore:

  • Fallout 76 tho jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.

    Shame about no FO4.

  • Online only multiplayer?
    Out.

  • No. Do your research. Todd Howard opened the entire presentation with 'You can absolutely play this game single player.' I will be.

  • I did "The Vault" escape room in Bury, Manchester at the weekend. It's Fallout-themed, and excellent.

  • Dishonoured. nice little creeper that reminds me of the OG thief.

is the sequel worth spending a few squid on?
