Of course they would. Rowe’s job was to work hard on the flat stages, add grunt to the TTT squad, and organise the team on the road. On mountainous days his job would’ve been done by the penultimate climb at the latest, so once he was dropped yesterday the team would have told him to climb off as there is no point him continuing to the finish.
I think he’ll go to the Tour given how he’s recovered from his injury, but yesterday’s result has absolutely no bearing on whether he’ll be selected or not.

Sky don't work like that thou do they? Especially when they have the yellow jersey I don't think they would have said its ok to have the last day off.
