Don't think there's anything more suitable for the money than a Waiter. You're right that the Wenger knives have been discontinued - some have been carried over to the Victorinox Delemont line but the 63 isn't one of them. If you wanted to get fancy you could get Robert Lessard to make you a Ti-scaled 91mm version of the Waiter: https://www.instagram.com/robertjlessard/?hl=en

I've had a very simple vintage SAK for years with just two blades and a corkscrew which was perfect for picnics, camping etc.
Maddeningly I've lost it. Before I get a Victorinox Waiter (improved by the addition of a bottle opener) is there anything else worth considering? Wenger Evo 63 looks good but apparently discontinued. Prefer the Alox Victorinox but they don't appear to make one with a corkscrew.
