Carbon rims are no lighter...
Best thing you can do wheel wise IMO is just go 2spd rear and build a front with a superlight hub / wheel build - https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/wheelswheels-front/sjsc-for-brompton-front-wheel-black/
Wheels - if your budget stretches to carbon rims.
Go for the ones with wire spokes - not the trispok ones which I have on order - they're lighter.
Don't make the mistake, which I did, of fitting an Alfine BB / chainset.
It might look better, but is actually heavier than the Brompton standard one.
I'm tempted by the look of the Shimano Metrea chainset, but I've cooked this year's budget on the trispoks.
I would've thought you'd save a fair bit of weight by replacing the BB with a Ti one.
Kerching!
FWIW, at the moment my Brompton is currently ~1kg heavier than my Van Nicholas Aeolus.
But it has eaten about the same amount of money as having my bathroom totally refitted
