Nope, probably 3-4 hours in the morning.

Am I right in thinking you can just upload a Garmin file, or do you have to use a Strava segment?
Connects via Strava, just upload one run at a time. Thanks @Sainsburys_Ed, will give it a whirl.

Interested in the T3...

Thanks for that. I scoped it out on Sunday and rode in the Shaftesbury CC 10 tonight.
I found it a bit too draggy to be properly fast, I seemed to always be doing either 47kmh or 35kmh, with a little bit more of the latter unfortunately.
Ended up with a long 24, I was hoping for a bit more, as I did a short 24 on the Velopark last night and was hoping this could be a bit faster.

Or comeback bike. My dad used his early 1950s Hobbs when he started again in 69/70 :)

I bought Jon's Four4th Scorpion in the knowledge that many people have struggled to fit them between an old style Cervelo TT seat post and the saddle. Now that I have both a Scorpion and Cervelo seat post, does anyone have any clever mounting suggestions?

Not at this time of night, but I have an idea that I'll try to sketch over the weekend

Details will need adjustment to match the actual 4Fourth bracket, and the angle will depend on whether it's a P2 or a P3, but you get the idea

YES!! That looks much better than the out of stock extension bracket that 4Fourth make. Are you making them? My seat post is a P2.
-
• #18087
Are you making them?
No, if I do a custom lamp bracket for me it will be for a Moon COB light behind some bottles. The plate is an easy job for FibreLyte, should be under £20. If you can let me have a look at the bracket I'll tweak the drawing to work properly and add a slot to allow the angle to adjust for either P2 or P3 fitting and send them the drawing, on the same basis as the Ventus spacers.

Where is the hq for the national 12hr. I can't find on the ctt website where I am supposed to be going.

More WT aero shenanigans "speed gel"

• #18090
Yeah, weird that there is a start sheet but no other info.

There's usually a booklet for nationals, which will be posted to you. I guess they haven't done an electronic download version.
-
• #18092
In the past the hq has been a sports centre close to the far end of the course.
Obviously you need confirmation though! -
• #18093
I need to book a hotel. So knowing where I am going is important. I can't even remember what road its on or the nearest town. There's a week to go as well.

• #18094
A31. Alton is your nearest town.

• #18095
Thanks

I remember reading on a forum thread that it’s a different hq but still in Alton. May have been mistaken, but Alton is definitely the closest to the start.
-
• #18097
It’s up on CTT website now https://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/documents/download/4021
Scratch that, no mention of HQ!

Has been Alton sports centre before but was different last year. Would imagine that the sports centre is the most likely.

So, that's a start sheet that doesn't tell me what time I'm starting, or where I'm starting from, or where I need to sign on. Great. Very pretty pictures though, so that's fine.

so that's fine
I'm just relieved hippy hasn't entered, can you imagine the palaver?
Thanks for giving up your time. I assume you are not there for the whole 12 hrs?
