Wish I could find the results of the hackney grass track race I beat him at a million years ago! It’s my one claim to cycling fame! Still have the pump I won that day on my winter bike!!

He’s riding really well. He was impressive at the Tour of California, but this is a level above that and to be Sky’s last man on a summit finish deep into the final kilometre is great stuff.

Think I did my track accreditation at Herne Hill same time as him; Saturday mornings doing two-up efforts taking a lap on the bunch FTW.
He's got to be the most "this is London my friend" rider ever? CCH, Herne Hill, LUFGUSS, Condor till, Rapah model, Team Sky. Even Brad doesn't have that palmares.
